Runtime access 2000 to SQLServer

Chris

Hi Guys, this is my first post here. I have just about finished an access
application - Forms, Query's, Reports in access, Tables in SQL Server.

I need to make the front end into an access runtime version ( I've never
done this before but I've been reading about it) and this run time version
needs to link to my SQL Server. It needs to be in runtime version as it
will be going onto a multiuser environment and about half the PC's don't
have a version of access.

Could someone please point me to a step by step guide of how this is done?

Thank you all

i'd reccomend doing it in 2002 or 2003 not 2000

i mean-- it's just somethign that you've got to do

Access 2000 was just the first version; and it's kinda buggy and
unpredictable.

2002 and 2003 have better support for SQL 2000 features.

I mean-- the rocket scientist that designed Access 2000 for SQL 7
should be fired.

Access 2000 doesn't even work against SQL 2000 without a special patch.
RIGHT?
