Hi =?Utf-8?B?VG9tbWll?=,
When I start Microsoft Word I get "Run time error 53" File not found
Qstartup.dll.
What should I do to resolve this? I am using an OEM version of Microsoft
Office that came with the computer?
Qstartup.dll would be some kind of tool that's been installed to enhance
Word. Have you added anything to the computer since you bought it?
If not, then this is something the computer distributor has installed and
would certainly fall under your OEM support contract. Q for "Quicken",
perhaps? In any case, it appears a file is missing that the Addin is
looking for. If you want to use the Addin, you have to contact the company
that provided it. Otherwise, you can probably get rid of it (best by
uninstalling through the Control Panel/Add Remove programs).
