Runtime error (abnormal program termination) there is more

While writting a letter or anything else for that matter within a matter of
minutes another window pops up with Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error
Program:C\programfiles\microsoftoffice\office10\WINORD.EXE including
abnormal program termaination. You then have only one option which is to
click on the window and Word 2002 closes completely. This is a most
frustrating situation and I have yet to find anyone that can shed any light
on the problem. I was going to re-install Word 2002 as a last resort losing
all that I had accomplished ( stored in Words memory. I had 19 books written
all stored within the the program and I do not really relish the prospect of
losing them all. I NEED HELP I AM UNABLE TO RESOLVE THIS ON MY OWN. If at
all possible I do not want to re-install the program if I can help it.
Before today I've been a Word user since 1990 and have never encountered a
problem before.
