Runtime Error and subsequent Database Results Wizard error.

This is a serious flwa in FP 2003 - -I just spent days
find the problem and "fix" The problem is FP2003 fails to
provide code for s-columnnames and s-columntypes in the
Database Wizard webbot. Of course, then the DB won't
update. There's nothing your Server Administrator can
do. Microsofts "fix" is to manually add values for all
these fields: hand-code extremely delicate Fp-generated
code . . .ridiculous ! Here is the KnowledgeBase answer /
article number. (Their first recommendation is to switch
to asp.NET - - -right) ! 817029 I've used DBWizard
successfulyl since maybe FP 1997 or so - - it's
unbelievably bad quality control on Microsfot's part, and
I haven't found any patches or even acknowledgement this
terrible goof exists on MS sites

I'm working with FP2003. I created a database and then
created Database Editor web site. Everything works fine,
with two exceptions:
When I try to update a record I get the following two errors:
1) A runtime error "top.list.location is null or not an
obect". This comes from a script embedded in update.asp
which is generated from FrontPage.
2) After I choose not to debug, I get an error "Database Results Wizard Error
The operation failed. If this continues, please contact your server administrator."

I've seen these before in the posts, but have not seen a
resolution. I'm under the gun to get this project
completed so I would appreciate any help.
