runtime error in Outlook Express 6

I have Outlook Express 6, Windows xp, service pack 3 - I recently had to do a
system restore and all setting are gone. I am trying to set up my Outlook to
retrieve my messages from Roadrunner. I called their tech support and he set
up all the correct settings for me remotely. Now he says that it is a
problem with Outlook itself and recommended that I contact you to see what I
should do to resolve this runtime error that comes up. Please advise.
