Hi. I'm running W2K SP4 with Office2003. I cannot get Onenote to run.
I get the following error message.
---------------------------
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
---------------------------
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\ONENOTE.EXE
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an
unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
---------------------------
I've tried installing, reinstalling and reinstalling form a clean
install of W2k. I've check with the MS KB and everywhere I can think
of, but I can't find any reference to people with this problem.
I initially downloaded and ran the pre-SP1 version, which ran fine,
until it exprired. Since then, I've tried various versions from
various sources, including, of course, my officially purchsed copy.
Nothing seems to make any difference. I've downloaded and tried to
install SP1, but it says unexpected version encountered.
Anyone have any insight into this? I have some really important data
locked up in this and I can't get at it! To say nothing of the fact
that I really like it a lot!
Thanks,
Jeff
