When I open Outlook after logging in to Windows XP I often get this error
message: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library (Path to Outlook.exe) Abnormal
Program Termination. Outlook terminates and I have to restart it. The error
never appears the second time round. But it often finds the archive folders
are corrupt and have to be repaired, which is tedious at least and I have the
impression I sometimes lose archive data.
Article 325117 describes a similar problem but the "Resolution" doesn't
apply to my situation. I have Norton Antivirus (and Antispam) active but not
McAfee. And I do not have the Exchange scan add-in. I only have "Exchange
extensions property pages" but that is deselected. Any clues?
