runtime error

I was fwd an email (a yahoo news story link - one of those deals when you're
at the Yahoo site you can email the article to someone) and after receiving
it, everytime I clicked on the email I got the following:

"Runtime Error!"
Program: C:\Program files\Microsoft Office\Office\outlook.exe
R6025
- pure virtual function call"

When I clicked on "ok" (the only option given", outlook would close.

The above would happen even if I just highlighted the email and didn't try
to open it up.

Any ideas/suggestions?

I'm running W2k w/ Office 2000 SR-1 Premium. All updates, security patches
etc... are installed.

Cheers,

Jim

Jim,
I am having the same problem and have tried everything to
find the problem. I also tried the same email with Eudora
and there is the same crash. It seems that the problem is
not with Outlook but perhaps IE since these Yahoo
messages are HTML. Searching on the Internet this seems
to be a very big problem and issue!

Nils,
Thanks much for the reply. Yeh, I haven't had much luck researching it out
either. Kinda figured that it was more a Yahoo issue than Outlook. I've been
fwd those emails/articles before, and haven't had a problem except w/ this
one. My outlook hasn't had any issues at all save for that email.

Cheers,

Jim
