Runtime Error

I installed Office XP PROFESSIONAL:
Sony VAIO
P4 3.2GHz
1.5 GB RAM
WINDOWS XP PROFFESIONAL
VERSION 2002
SP1

When I try to open outlook I get a runtime error

window header shows: microsoft visual C++ runtime library
error = G:progr~\micros~3\office10\outlook.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate
it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more
information.

Any fixes please?
