Runtime Error

Every other time I try to open Word 2002, I get the following error:
Runtime Error!
Program: c:\Program files\Microsoft Office\Office 10\winword.exe
Abnormal Program Termination

The next time I try to open the program I'm asked to open it in safe mode to
solve the problem. It opens in safe mode, but the problem is never solved.
It just continues like this.

Anyone have any ideas?
