Runtime error

The following error appears when opening Word in my Office 2000 suite: This
application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support time for more information. Does
anyone have any idea of how to deal with this? I have uninstalled and
reinstalled my Office 2000 with service Pak and all security updates.
