runtime error

whenever I start Word, I got the runtime error Microsoft
Visual Basic dialog as below:

Run-Time Error 2147467259 (80004005):
Method 'PrivateProfileString' of object 'system' failed

I already updated Office SP3. Not sure what it means

Hi,

probably you have some addins installed on your computer
that load automatically on the start of word. Check Extras
| Templates and addins for addins that are checked. If you
select one entry=addin in this dialog it shows the exact
directory it is installed in (mostly program\microsoft
office\office\startup). Close word and rename the addins
(for example change addin.dot to addin.dot.old) and start
word again. The error sould be gone - and so is the
supplementary functionality that is supplied through the
addins. If you don't miss anything you're done with that.
