I reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled Xp Home and Office. Now when I
get to different Internet Explorer pages, I sometimes get a message that a
"Runtime Error has occured, do you wish to Debug". If I choose yes, I get a
window that asks if I want to use the Microsoft Script Editor to debug.
What program is causing this and how do I disable it. It is a pain because
it happens about 2 out of 5 web pages I come across.

You probably have the script debugging option checked
under the advanced tab in the internet explorer propertys.
Just uncheck it. This interweb thing sure is hard!

In IE, check "Disable Script Debugging" under Tools | Internet Options |
Advanced.
