Runtime versus full edition

Hello,

It is my impression that the MSAccess.exe file is the same for runtime as
for the full edition of Access.
Is this true?

Any comments appreciated.

As posted previously by several of the more advance folks, MSAccess.exe
whether runtime or otherwise is the same, but that when packaged and
installed the design functions, etc. are then limited as a result of
hundreds of registry entries. Someone will correct me and/or otherwise
expand.

In addition to design features being disabled, certain features such as
Filter By Form and Spell Check are also non-functional in the runtime app.
There is code available here and there to emulate Filter By Form, such as
the QBF (Query By Form) download from the Access Developer's Handbook site.
I believe Spell Check capability in Access runtime apps requires use of a
third-party spell checker such as that from Wintertree Software. However, I
have not tried the Wintertree product.
