Given a Notice to Proceed date, a contract duration and the estimated full
amount of the contract cost, I need to create monthly projections using an S
curve or maybe I should say an inverted S curve. This curve adjusts a
gradual increase at the beginning then higher monthly values during the
middle section of the schedule, finalizing with a gradual decrease until 100%
is achieved. Usually the S curve requires historical data. Is it possible
to produce it in MS Project without historical data? For example, just
giving it the expected months of gradual increase, middle fast increase, and
final decrease.
