I
IWantXPBack
Today I registered my version of Visual Studio 2008.
It was recommended that I check for updates, so I did. And I installed all
recommended updates.
Only afterwards did I check to see what update was installed. It was an
update for Office 2007.
I'm using Office 2003, and Outlook 2003.
Also today, my Outlook 2003 stopped sending all incoming mail that is not in
my Safe Senders list to the Junk E-mail folder. For the last year I've had
all incoming mail sent automatically to Junk E-mail unless the sender was on
my Safe list. Suddenly today, that rule is being ignored.
I have to wonder if the installation of the Office 2007 update has something
to do with my Outlook 2003 suddenly not working correctly.
If that's the case, then I have to wonder why it was recommended that I
install an update for software I don't have, and which cripples my existing
software.
Maybe they aren't related.
Hopefully some else has had this issue and can offer a course of action to
repair Outlook 2003.
Thanks.
