hi.
i wanted to ask you guys for help.
i had an ibook before, but recently i bought a new one. when i got the
new one, i accidently installed the same cd key for office 2004,
although i had a different cd keys.
because these two computers had same office cd key, somehow office
blocked off the network. ( i heard it happened before to my friends,
but fortunately, they didnt live together, so it didnt bother them
much)
so i uninstalled the office, on both of em in face, and installed it
again with diff cd keys. but it still doesnt work..
so here is description of wat happens:
only one computer gets to go online. everytime i reset my wireless
router, the first computer to access the internet keeps the internet
until i reset the router again...
can someone please help??
thanks

It's not the internet - it's your local network that is checked for more
than one running copy of Office.

If you used the Remove Office application to uninstall Office, that
should have taken care of the problem. If you simply trashed the
application, it won't - there are preference files, including hidden
ones, that need to be removed.

As an alternative to Remove Office, see

i used the Remove Office application.
and just in case that didnt work, i also used the manual way of
deleting the officePID.... still doesnt work...
