Same date (today) each year

Hello

Please could you help with this.

I have a crosstab query but I would like to restrict it to just YTD. But
need to the YTD for "each" year included.

So I would like to count the number of records that have a date in the
record - but only up to the same date each year.

I "think" I just need to add a filter to the date criteria row -
but I have tried Format((Date()) ,") and it does not work.

Has anyone any idea how to filter all my date fields just so that only the
records with a date that is less than today's date but for each year
