Same email message but receive file size different in two machine

I notice that the emails received by the notebook (Win7 + Outlook 07) show
very big size compare with my desktop (WinXP + Outlook 03). Both using same
email account.

For e.g

I have received 5 emails from someones, please see below the difference in
email sizes of the notebook vs those received in my desktop PC

Mail 1 : 12 MB vs 3MB
Mail 2: 4 MB vs 1 MB
Mail 3: 32 MB vs 9 MB
Mail 4: 30 MB vs 8 MB

Any idea?
