Same FONT Displays differently on two IDENTICAL computers

R

Russ Thompson

I have a Thinkpad T60P and so does a colleague. I used Verdana to build a
Front Page 2003 web site. I have Verdana installed and so does he. Both
computer video settings are identical. The font settings in the control
panel are identical.

PROBLEM: My web page displays differently on his computer than mine. His
VERDANA font is much bolder, much larger and causes the web page to look
terrible on his system. Mine lools great.

Has anypone experienced this?

Check the Font size setting under IE, is it set to Medium?

I looked in tools->internet options->general and did not see a font size
option. Where, exactly, do I find this setting.

Thank you!

Yes, but only after the fact as a way to determine the issue. This is not a
subtle difference. The font on his system is huge compared to mind, yet FP
shows that they are identical.

I can get screen captures to show you.

How about the file itself?
