I have Outlook 2007 accessing POP3 mail at work but leaving messages on the
server. When the mail downloads I will get, for example, 30 emails pumped
into the “junk mail†folder. This is great!
At home, because my work Outlook does not download from the server, I
download my messages from the POP3 server and all the same messages end up in
my inbox folder instead of junk mail folder.
I have compared Tools | Options | Junk Mail settings on both and they are
identical. I have the latest security patches from Microsoft Download.
I suspect there might be a hidden registry setting that might be different
on my home machine. I have had Outlook 2007 running on the home machine since
2007 came out. I recently built a new computer at work and loaded on Outlook
within the last two weeks.
Any thoughts? Thanks!
