same subtasks for multiple tasks

Hello,

Is there way in project 2007 standard to easily apply 3 or 4
identical subtasks to a few hundred tasks?
I know I could type the subtasks once and then cut and paste them to
all the tasks I've already entered - is there a better way?
thanks for any help

Hi Mike,

That's the only way:( However, you could record a macro and put it on a
toolbar and keep clicking. A tailored macro would do a lot better though.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the quick reply - I'm reasonably new to Project, but will
be doing an awful lot with it in a short time span - I was just hoping
I'd not missed something blindingly obvious! For the relatively few
entries I've got - I'll just get clicking!!

MikeMcSharry,
Just for reference, no two (or more) subtasks are identical - it's
physically impossible. If they were they would be the same task! The
fact that you want to put those similar subtasks under multiple tasks
says that you should add an additional descriptor to the task name that
makes each and every performance task, (a task that is actually
performed by one or more resources), unique.

Hope this helps.
