sample automator workflows not working

In Word 2008, if I go to the scripts menu and click on one of the
sample automator workflows, nothing happens. Except from then on
everything in the scrips menu is greyed out and can't be chosen again.
If I quit Word the options in the scripts menu appear again but
nothing happens when I choose a sample automator workflow. Is there
soemthing I have to activate?

I can't work out why?

Any ideas?

Looks like a bug to me. I'll escalate it and see if I can get any further

Thanks for that.

I've just opened the workflows themselves in Automator and hit the run
button there and then they seem to work, but not from within Word,
which sort of defeats the purpose.

You can also see the same behavior demonstrated with the following steps:

- Launch Automator from the Applications folder
- Drag the ŒNew Folder¹ Action to the Workflow
- Where = Desktop
- File, Save; File, Quit
- Right click saved Automator Workflow
- Open With, Automator Launcher

Result ­ No folder created. So this is not strictly an Office 2008 or
provided Sample Workflow issue.
