Hi,
I have completed single server installation for testing Project 2003 server
without problem. Now I tried to install sample project came with the
software and received error at "Add Content Database".
On step 4 under Extending Windows SharePoint Services and adding the
restored database section, it tells me to use sa login to connect to the
database. However I do not have a option to do so. All I have on the section
were Server name and Database Name, and no box for username and password. I
did see those boxes when I installed project server.
Now, I assume it is using NT Authority\Network Service account by default.
However, I get access denied error when clicking OK on the Add Content
Database page.
When I compared the users in the Database with Enterprize Manager, I noticed
that my default database has dbo with NT Authority\Network Service, but
Sample database (MSPWSSSampleDatabase) has dbo with no user associated. NT
Authority\Network service is listed as database owner with security admin and
db creater rights.
Could someone please point me to the right direction?
Thanks for reading my long post.
