I've been looking for over an hour now. There are plenty of instructions out there on how to save charts as templates on Windows based machines. I just wanna do the same thing on my mac. Here's what I'm trying to do and how it's done on a windows machine:

<http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel/HA100072051033.aspx>

The menus are different on the Mac version, I can't find the the 'Design' tab under the 'Chart' menu. I've tried everything I can think of, I'm sure I'm just missing something simple.

I did find where the .crtx files are stored:
username/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Office/Chart Templates/Tester.crtx

and I created an empty .rtf file and renamed it with 'tester.crtx' and it showed up in the "Charts" banner under "Templates" when I relaunched Excel. Of course, I couldn't do anything with it because it's empty. So this leads me to believe is must be possible to save a chart as a template.

PLEASE HELP. I need to change about 30 charts with individual data to have the same formating and I don't wanna do it one by one. If you know a work around that'd be great too.

Thanks,
Greg
