'Save as' Dialog Box for Office 2000

When I open and then edit a document from within a Document List on a machine
running Office 2000, the 'Save as' Dialog box does not let me save the
document back to the Server. On a machine running Office 2003 this is not
the case. Is there a hotfix or something that I need? Please help......

How doesn't it let you save? Do you encounter an error message? If so,
what is it?

No error message appears. The option to save the edited document back to the
location of the original document on the SharePoint server does not appear
for me as an option in the dialog box that comes up.

The fact that you are using SharePoint is important information.

SharePoint features were integrated in Office as of Office 2003 so the
'hotfix' you need is Office 2003 since previous version of Office do
not have the same features.

I was afraid you would tell me that. I was hoping for a way to overcome the
