Outlook 2007 installed on Win XP SP2
My installation is not on a network and I don't share calendars or publish
them to the web (or anywhere else for that matter). I enter my appointments
by typing directly into the day view of the calendar. I do not enter by
bringing up the new appointment dialogue.
Whenever I start Outlook for the first time after starting the computer a
Save As window pops up as soon as I try to move to another day. The program
is
trying to get me to save the calendar as an iCal (*.ics) file. The only way
to get rid of this dialog is to save my calendar as an iCal file. The first
time it happened it accepted the name that was autofilled (roberta's
calendar). Each time since then, I have to change the name. If I try to use
the same name, I get the warning that the file already exists, I click OK to
overwrite the old file and the Save As dialog pops back up. But I digress,
the problem is not that I need to give it a new name, the problem is that I
don't want the Save As dialog to pop up at all.
I have already disabled all plugins except my antivirus plugin (Kaspersky)
and Microsoft VBA for Outlook.
Can anybody help me get rid of this annoying problem?
TIA
