Save As/ Export file formats in Access 1997

When I go to file, Save as / export I dont have the
option to export to Excel or even Word. I have both word
and excel installed. I have already tried reinstall
Access. Any ideas?

Reregister the dll files

Start Run
regsvr32 msexcl35.dll
regsvr32 msxbse35.dll
regsvr32 mspdox35.dll
regsvr32 mstext35.dll

Substitute 40 instead of 35 for Access 2000 and above.
