Save As is trying to change the start date

I have a user who goes out to his project on the server and opens it, he then
tries to do a save as. When he does this he gets an error that a certain
task is set to start before the project start date. If you look, this task
isn't, but if you look in project information the start date has now changed
to the current date instead of the actual start date and all the tasks are
really starting before the start date. Has anyone seen this, is there
anything we can do?

Dear Ziebarth,

No, havent seen that before. Check the project option to see if there is
anything strange in there and then check the task constartins for each task.
Are the all set to As soon as Possible? It one of the early tasks has a
contraint date set to current date that would be one reason for it.

Ziebarth:

Is the project saved as a normal project? I could see this behavior
happening if someone inadvertently saved a project that is underway as a
template rather than a normal project.
