Save As not responding

When I now try to save a Word document into a folder, the program freezes up
and I get a "Save As---Not Responding" message.
I can create a new document and save it to My Docs, but when I try to open a
subfolder to save it in I get locked up.
Any suggestions?

Go to the email from PW dated 4/19/2006 beginning "Your latest updates have
fouled up my com.... and vote 'I agree', maybe we'll wake somebody up at MS
