Save As option greyed out under File Menu

I have setup MS Access 2003 on a Windows Server 2003 and when any user
(including Administrators) open a file or create a new one there is no
File|Save As option available as it is greyed out.

I have implemented Group Policies for the Office Products but I cannot see
where I may have turned this off and how it could be affecting Administrators
as they were not assigned this policy.

Hi Tracey. Access doesn't save its databases like you'd save a normal Text
(or other type of file). Whn you open Access, you don't get anything, in
fact the Save option is greyed out. However if you click File > New > Blank
Database, you'll get a Save As.... dialog box prompting you to save the file
somewhere, usually starting at the My Documents folder.

Thanks Leo! I had come to that conclusion when my manager tested the system
and since he was from a database background he figured it might be something
like that as we could save a table but not the whole database. I wasn't
quite trusting that there was no 'bug' to fix so thankyou for the
confirmation that our guess was right.
