save as Package doesn't seem to do it

From what I understand, Save As Package is supposed to copy and gather together in one folder all sound and movie files that are in a presentation so that the ppt file and those resources can be moved successfully from one computer to another. I tried this, and PowerPoint saved a .ppt file and that's all. The recipient to whom I ftp'd the folder with the ppt file in it said that the file searched for the movies and couldn't find any. Did I do something wrong, or did PowerPoint?

Hi,

This was broken in one of the updates but it has been fixed in a
subsequent update.

Use Help > Check for updates.

You should be at 11.5.1 (080707) when you look under the PowerPoint menu
and choose About Microsoft PowerPoint.
