save as pdf driving me crazy

I "printed" a large file to a pdf file. The xls file has the first row
frozen in place. It's a several second download, sorry for the size.

I can't seem to save the file again so the top row stays in place like
it does now. I don't know what I did then but I just can't duplicate
this behavior now.

I thought I may have created a header in the original file but I can't
save the first row text as a header.

I'm using Excel OSX. Any suggestions? I'm going batty.

Never mind. I found out why.
