This is a new problem, we have to file server, first one os is nt 4.0,
second one is win 98.
we have about 15 workstations connecting thru a local area network to these
two servers.
All workstations running on xp, we can easily open & save any files we like
on either one of these two server, but when it comes to ms word, we can
open any wrd document file, but when we want save as this file to a
different name we get this message"The folder may be located on an
unavailable volume or protected with a password.", this message is generated
only on sencond server the one running on 98.Now let's say if I cahnge the
file extension from doc to rtf, I don't get that message.
Any solution?
