Save As Problems

I use Office 2003 and recently installed the 2007 Compatability Pack. Now
when I right click a file in My Documents and click "save as" it only wants
to save the file as a 2007 document. For example if I right click a .doc
file it only wants to save it as a .docm or .docx file.

I'm a bit confused... when I open My Documents and right-click a file, there
is no Save As option. So, I must be misunderstanding. What program are you
in when you right-click a file to save it? What do you do to display the
file list for right-clicking?

When you choose Save As, is there a Save as type: dropdown box?

I solved the problem, this was a side effect of the Compatibility Pack. I
just removed the option of Save As... from any .doc or .xls document using
the Folder Options\File Types\Advanced.

According to Microsoft the Save as was to help convert files from 2003 to
2007 without having to open every file.
