Save as Stationary

I have a page of stationary that is set as the default for a One Note
section. I've selected the entire page and set the font color to red before
saving it. When I create a new page in that section and start typing, my
default font color (Tools/Options/Editing), which is black, is used instead
of red.

Font colors aren't saved as part of the stationery, and as you've observed,
the default font color is what is applied by, well, default
