Save as to CD error

Do you know if there is anyway to save a document to a
local Writable CD from Word? I have tested on Word 2000
as well as XP and gotten the same message. When you try
to Save As and select the Writable CD drive with a blank
CD in it, you get the following message: "You do not have
access to the folder 'E\' (which is the CD drive). See
your administrator for access to the folder." I tried
with Roxio EZCD 6.0 as well and got the same message.
Does anyone know if this can be fixed? Please let me know.

Don't ever save to any form of removable media from Word. Save to the HD,
then copy to the disk/disc.

I realize that it is not the best form but is the ability
there to do this? I would do what you recommend but the
question has been asked if we can do this.
