Save Custom Filter???

Hi,
Is there a way to save a custom filter? under PWA>Tasks - If you click on
the "filter, group, search" there is the ability to set up a custom filter,
which I use a lot, Could you please let me know is there any way that a
resource can "save" their custom filters that they have built in their Tasks
timesheets. If not, would it be possible to add this functionality?

Thanks in advance,

If you are using Project 2003 PWA, you should see a button called Save Link.
This will save your version of the view for you to refer back to at a later
time.

Once you save the first saved link, you will see a new option to the left
which says Saved Links and has a plus next to it. Refer there to see your
saved link.

Hi TGG,
Thanks for your reply, My question is not about saved links ....
Under PWA>Tasks> View my Tasks> You could find "FILTER, GROUP,SEARCH"click
on it > You could see another button " CUSTOM FILTER" which is a advanced
filter for search purpose....
Can i save that custom filter info..?

Thanks for your help !

Hi Potluri,

I don't know of any other way to save custom filter info other than creating
a saved link filtered and grouped for a specific need. For the most part,
that's the only reason I use Saved Links.

My list looks like - Projects by Demand Segment, Project Manager - Red
Status Only, etc.

Sorry I couldn't help further.

I'm following up with a Microsoft contact on this. I looked at the code, but
it doesn't seem to accept a value for setting a custom filter via the url.
