Save drawing canvas as .tif?

Scott

Hi,

I created a drawing in MS Word XP and I am now trying to
save that drawing as a .tif file. I am only interested
in saving the drawing itself, not the entire MS Word
document. Is there a way to save just the drawing as
a .tif file? I can not copy and paste this drawing into
MS Photo Editor, so that is not an option.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

If you save the document as a Web page, graphics will be split out into a
subfolder, from which you can then retrieve them. They are created as GIFs
or JPEGs, however. I don't see why you would be unable to paste the drawing
into PhotoEditor, however.

Thanks for your reply, Suzanne. Your suggestion did
work. The .gif file was saved at a resolution of 96 dpi,
however, and I am interested in saving the drawing at a
minimum of 300 dpi. Is there a way to change the
resolution of the saved images in a web page through MS
Word?

Thanks,
Scott

If you have Word 2002, look at Tools | Options | General | Web Options |
Pictures.

Scott,
The way I get drawings out of MS Word is to use the "Print
Screen" button and then paste the capture into an editing
program like Photoshop. The resolution might be low, like
72dpi, so you have to scale it up in Photoshop...
