Save error

I just worked hours on a document and saved several times. I closed the doc
and got no pop up confirmation so I assumed it was saved properly. I can't
find it now. Not in recently changed, not recycle bin, nowhere. Any ideas
where it went? Can it be recovered?

Do you have search set to search system folders, hidden files and folders,
and subfolders?

Have you search specifying when it was modified?
