Save Linked Plan File Without Saving Linked Plans

Hi

How can I use code to save a plan containing linked plans
without saving the plans it's linked to (ie. select 'No to
all').

If I use Display Alerts = False it automatically
select 'Yes to all'.

Ian,
Unfortunately I know of no way to do it other than allow the dialog
window to appear. I faced a similar problem a while back and ended up
just warning the user about the various options (e.g. suggested they
might want to save the changes and if "yes", set DisplayAlerts = False).

However, there is a workaround you might want to consider. If the master
plan is copied as a static consolidation to a new Project file, it won't
have dynamic links to the subprojects and can thus be saved (as a
snapshot in time) without saving changes to the subprojects. Please note
that this involves more than simply using Copy to create the new static
file. It takes some coding, but I have used this method in the past.
