Save My Settings Wizard wizard removed from Office 2007?

Why was the "Save My Settings Wizard" removed from Office 2007 and is their
a comparable replacement? It was a great tool when migrating users
settings from an old computer to a new one.

Thanks

Hello Bry,

Yes, the "Save My Settings Wizard" has been removed from the Office 2007 Suit. If you are running Microsoft Windows Vista, you can use "Windows easy
Transfer" to migrate user settings. Moreover, a downloaded command-line tool called "Windows User State Migration Tool" can also migrate user files and
settings. It's supported in Microsoft Windows XP and Vista.

For more information, please see:

I hope it will be helped.

Except there are many reported problems in the Outlook groups with using
this method to transfer Outlook data....

You mean like it both sux and bloze? Yeah, tell it to the numerous users who have had their Outlook data hosed by the WET.
