Save only edited sheet within a workbook (Excel 2003)?

Hi,

Is there a way I can just save the worksheet I edited within the workbook to
decrease saving time other than the whole workbook when saving (this is just
my thought to increase saving speed)? Or, is there another way?

For example, if I update sheet "DataLog" and click Save, then save only the
sheet I edited within that workbook.

I don't know if this make sense but I have an issue where everytime I save,
it tooks more than 40 sec to complete. And as time goes by, adding more data
and this increase the file size and it will be slower and slower when save.

Now, I am trying to see if I can decrease the saving time. Please help...

No, you cannot save a worksheet individually in the same workbook. You can
save it separately as a new workbook. The Save and SaveAs method is designed
to save an entire file, not pieces of it individually within the file.

Afterthought, if you have not done disc cleaning and defragmentation in a
while, doing those might improve your file save time slightly.
