Save print settings in tables?

I often want to print the contents of a table. Generally, I forget that the
table is too wide to print on portrait paper until AFTER I retrieve the
hardcopy from the printer. I have looked in help and on the newsgroups but I
don't see any way to get the landscape setting to "stick." Is this possible,
or do I have to remember to change the orientation every time I print?

For this we have things called "reports".

I don't see the point of writing a "report" that does nothing more than dump
the contents of a table. Seems to me this is just excess clutter in a
database that already has many objects.
