Save projects takes too long!!!

some suggestion?
I deployed PS2007 a few weeks and everything was ok.

The number of projects saved in server is growing and I´ve noticed a slow
degradation, when I save projects in PS2007 takes too long, actually 36
seconds!!! it does matter if change one or many tasks in the saved project.

The configuration is a single server with:

- Project Portfolio Server 2007
- Project Server 2007 SP1
- WSS 3.0 SP1
- SQL Server 2005 SP2

start by looking at your server performance counters to try to identify what
is the bottleneck:
