"..save replies with original message" is not working

Hello everyone.
I'm using Outlook2003 and although I have set the "In folders other
than the inbox, save replies with original message" option on,
Outlook2003 still stores all my replies to the "Sent Items" folder
instead of the original folder where the replied email was stored.
Is there a way I can work around this problem??
