Save requester hangs

Don't know if this is an office symptom or an XP
professional symptom, but everytime I go to save most
office documents, the save requester (dialog window)
hangs whenever a dropdown is (browse for other location)
clicked to save in a different location...

Does someone have a solution for this?

Most likely reason is that there is a nonexistant drive mapped and the
system is waiting for it to respond. Check for bad drives in My computer
and remove the bogus ones.
