Save resource usage report in html?

"Is there a way to save the "Resource Usage Report" view as an html file?
This is the report sorted by name and task (rows), with dates (days of the
week) as the columns. Each cell shows total hours for each resource and for
that resource's tasks, by date. I don't see it in the list of html file
templates, and am unsure which fields to use to create a new map. I'm using
MSP 98. Thanks!

Hello Carol,

The Resource Usage Report is based upon the Resource Usage view.
Unfortunately the only way to export timescaled data such as the
Resource Usage or Task Usage view is to export the the raw data to
excel. The analysis toolbar containes an "Analyze Time-Scaled Data in
Excel" button that you can launch from the Resource Usage view. Follow
the prompts from the wizard. The output is not going to be as detailed
as the Usage view or report. You will see the resource's name and
his/her work per day or week, but you won't see the task name
information.

The other option is to print the report to a program that creates PDF
files.

For additional information, see FAQ #10 "Exporting to Excel" and FAQ #16
"Project Viewer" at:

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
