save section as stationary

I have downloaded a template (01135103.one) from MS that has several pages
and subpages in the section. I would like to save the whole 'set' or group of
pages as one item in my stationary so that i can quickly insert all the pages
in new sections.

Can this be done?

Thanks.

One approach to adding a set of pages/subpages as/to a new section
would simply be to make a copy of the .one file and rename that and
move the renamed file (if necessary) to a relevant folder.

Thanks for the info.... what I'm really trying to do is have an entry in 'My
Stationary' that when I select it a group of pages will be inserted. I'm
trying to avoid having all the pages saved individually or saving a blank
version in a section for copying later.

I wonder how the original file was saved/created. When you open the orignal
file it creates 8 pages under the 'Other Notes' tab. I have also tried to
create my own category in the stationary directory and coping over the
orginal file. When I did this the category was added to the Stationary Pane
and the file (stationary name) was added. However, when I selected the
stationary for a new section only the first page of the original set was
added.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Create a new section and customise it in the way you want. Save the
section.

In Windows explorer copy the section, then try pasting the section as
you created it into the folder
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 11\Templates\1033\ONENOTE\Stationery
