Save to PDF gives me 2 files

When I print a file to a PDF document I get 2 PDF files. One containing page
1, the other containing the following pages.
Does anyone know why that happens and how I can get rid of that?

Regards, André.

Hi André,

Was there a section break or page orientation change between page one
and two? That would do it. If you have Acrobat, you can merge the two
files... unsure if you can do that with Apple's Preview or not.

Good luck!

There is a freeware utility to merge PDFs without having to buy Acrobat. I
can't remember the name, but search on versiontracker under PDF and it will
be there. I've used it several times and it saved my bacon!

There are certain page formatting options that cause Word to output
multiple "print outs" to the PDF writer. Different margins are the most
common reason Word does this to my documents, for example.

I've found that as long as I don't need any different margins, I can
almost always fix this problem by going into Format:Document, ensuring
that "Whole Document" is selected, and setting the margins to what I
want them to be.

If that doesn't work, I've always been able to fix the problem by going
into Format:Document, choosing "Whole Document", and making sure that
everything has a setting; an empty setting indicates that the setting
differs in different sections of the document.
